Fire in the Landscape - Impacts on Water Resources Field Excursion

This field trip was an opportunity for Bushfire CRC end-users and researchers to interact and discuss how current field-based research activities at University of Melbourne and University of Sydney deliver useful information on fire impacts on forest hydrology and erosion.

Site visits included;
• Tree water-use/forest hydrology research sites, Stanley
• Post-fire runoff and erosion research sites, Mudgegonga.

A group of fire managers and scientists this month went deep into the forests of north east Victoria to view research sites.
